Lynn Bains has been accent coach on every American play at Pitlochry Festival Theatre since 1989 and is widely regarded as Scotland’s top American accent coach. In a two day ‘Accents on Acting’ workshop which takes place on Sat & Sun 22/23 January, you’ll learn how to research, choose and perfect an authentic American accent.
Day One starts with a focus on 2 or 3 accents, with plenty of time for practical work. Day Two sees Lynn direct you in short scenes, putting your newfound skills to the test. This will give you the confidence you need to deliver a convincing American accent!
