As the Fortingall Art Exhibition approaches artists, photographers, craft exhibitors and young film-makers are working hard to complete their exhibits for the Exhibition which starts on Friday 29 July and runs until Sunday 7 August. Entry Closing Dates The closing date for the Mini Art Competition for children is Friday 17 June. Entries to be sent to Audrey Slorance, The closing date for the three minute film aimed at young people still in full-time education is Thursday 30 June. The theme is ‘Elemental’. and the contact Sheena Stanbridge, East Lodge, Taymouth, Aberfeldy, 01887 830254 “This is an exciting new venture and we feel sure there will be many entries for this competition which will challenge participant’s expertise and imagination,” Gillian Evans for the organisers told Comment. “The winner will receive a cash prize of £250 & the best of the films will be shown during the Exhibition. “We do look forward to receiving the entries as these competitions add so much and are greatly appreciated by all those who visit the exhibition.” The Fortingall Art Exhibition is being held in the Molteno Hall.
