Edinburgh Exhibition for Local Artists

The Di Rollo gallery in the heartland of Edinburgh art, Dundas Street, is currently mounting an exhibition of works by two well known Perthshire artists.
Local painter Maryann Ryves’ striking and colourful images of woods and woodland landscapes will already be familiar to local art lovers and visitors to galleries in the area, while Albie Sinclair, who shares the Di Rollo exhibition, is a resident of Dunning and he too is inspired by the land around him. His fascination with winter light has resulted in a series of atmospheric paintings of mountains and farmlands, including an enviable view from his kitchen window.
Gallery owner Jamie Sutherland is delighted by the interest shown by visitors in both artists’ work. In a compact and friendly setting, Di Rollo is currently displaying not only paintings by other artists, but also a range of original sculptures, jewellery and ceramics. It’s well worth a visit at any time and Maryann and Albie’s exhibition continues until 25 June.
